Coitus Interruptus During The Time Of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)

SUMMARY: During the time of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), people practiced coitus interruptus while the Quran was being revealed.

Jabir (Allah be pleased with him) reported: We used to practise 'azl while the Qur'an was revealed (during the days when the Prophet was alive).

QUICK LESSONS:
Follow Islamic teachings in all aspects of life. Respect for intimacy between couples.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about a practice that was done during the time of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him). It states that people used to practice 'azl which is also known as coitus interruptus. This is a form of birth control where a man withdraws his penis from his partner's vagina before ejaculation. It was practiced during the days when the Quran was being revealed and this shows us how important it is to follow Islamic teachings even in matters related to intimacy between couples. We can learn from this hadith that we should always strive to follow Islamic teachings in all aspects of our lives and not just in matters related to worship or prayer.
