Take time when making decisions like marriage; Look for qualities beyond physical beauty; Consider character traits & values over physical beauty

This hadith speaks about marriage and how it should be done. It was narrated by Abu Huraira that he was in the company of Allah's Messenger when someone came and informed him that he had contracted to marry a woman from the Ansar. Upon hearing this, Allah's Messenger advised him to cast a glance at her before going ahead with it as there is something special in the eyes of those from the tribe of Ansar. This hadith teaches us that we should take our time when making decisions like marriage and not rush into them without proper consideration. We should also look for qualities beyond physical beauty when choosing our life partners such as character traits and values which are more important than looks alone.
