Respect your family ties and be mindful when making decisions about marriage

This hadith from Abu Huraira states that it is not permissible for a man to marry his father’s sister, or his brother’s daughter, or the daughter of his own sister. This prohibition is based on Islamic law and has been established by Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
