Follow Islamic teachings even if inconvenient or unpopular , Obey Allah SWT's commands .

This hadith is about a conversation between Ali ibn Abi Talib RA and Ibn Abbas RA. In this conversation, Ali RA warned Ibn Abbas not to be hasty in his religious verdicts as it was narrated that he gave some relaxation in connection with the contracting of temporary marriage. He reminded him that Prophet Muhammad PBUH had prohibited temporary marriage and the eating of flesh from domestic asses forever on the Day of Khaibar. This hadith teaches us that we should always take our time when making decisions related to religion so we can make sure they are correct according to Islamic teachings. We should also remember that certain things are forbidden by Allah SWT such as temporary marriage and eating domestic ass meat which must be followed at all times regardless if it is convenient or not for us personally.
