Visiting Quba' Every Saturday

SUMMARY: Ibn Umar used to visit Quba' every Saturday and saw the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) doing the same.

Ibn Umar used to come to Quba' on every Saturday and he said: I saw Allah's Apostle coming (to this place) on every Saturday.
وَحَدَّثَنِي زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، أَنَّ ابْنَ، عُمَرَ كَانَ يَأْتِي قُبَاءً كُلَّ سَبْتٍ وَكَانَ يَقُولُ رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ يَأْتِيهِ كُلَّ سَبْتٍ

EXPLANATIONS:
The hadith narrated by Ibn Umar tells us that it was a practice of the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) to visit the place of Quba’ every Saturday. This is an example of how we should strive to follow in his footsteps and emulate his actions, as he was a perfect example for us to follow. We can learn from this hadith that it is important for us to take time out of our busy lives and dedicate it towards activities which will bring us closer to Allah SWT, such as visiting places with religious significance or engaging in acts of worship. Additionally, this hadith also teaches us about consistency; if we want something good in our lives then we must be consistent with our efforts and not give up easily when faced with difficulties or obstacles.
