Praying on a Mount

SUMMARY: The Prophet (pbuh) was seen offering prayer on his mount, regardless of the direction it took.

Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Amir from his father who said: I saw the Prophet (pbuh) offering the prayer on his mount (Rahila) whatever direction it took.
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الأَعْلَى، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَامِرٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ يُصَلِّي عَلَى رَاحِلَتِهِ حَيْثُ تَوَجَّهَتْ بِهِ‏.‏

EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was seen offering prayer while riding on a mount called Rahila. This shows us that even when we are in motion, we can still take time to pray and remember Allah. It also teaches us that no matter where we are or what direction our journey takes, our prayers should always be directed towards the Kaaba in Makkah. This hadith also reminds us to be mindful of our actions and to make sure that they are pleasing to Allah at all times.
