Protection of Medina from Plague and Dajjal

SUMMARY: The hadith speaks of the protection of Medina from plague and Dajjal by angels.

Abu Huraira (Allah be pleased with him) reported Allah's Messenger as saying: There are at the approaches of Medina angels so that plague and the Dajjal shall not penetrate into it.
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، قَالَ قَرَأْتُ عَلَى مَالِكٍ عَنْ نُعَيْمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ‏ "‏ عَلَى أَنْقَابِ الْمَدِينَةِ مَلاَئِكَةٌ لاَ يَدْخُلُهَا الطَّاعُونُ وَلاَ الدَّجَّالُ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks about the protection that is granted to the city of Medina by Allah through His angels. It is said that these angels are stationed at the approaches to the city so that no harm can come to it, such as plague or even Dajjal, who is an impostor who will try to deceive people in the end times. This hadith serves as a reminder for us all that Allah's protection is always there for those who believe in Him and follow His commands. He will protect us from any harm if we put our trust in Him and seek refuge in Him alone.
