EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks about the importance of the city of Medina in Islam. It was here that the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ migrated from Makkah and established his first Islamic state. He declared it a sacred territory, meaning that no one should commit any kind of sin or crime within its boundaries. He also declared it a place of safety, meaning that anyone who entered its boundaries would be protected from harm or danger by Allah Himself. This hadith teaches us to respect the sanctity of all places which have been declared as such by Allah's Messenger ﷺ and to always strive for peace and safety in our lives wherever we may be.
