SUMMARY: It is not permissible to carry weapons in Mecca.

Jabir (Allah be pleased with him) reported: I heard Allah's Apostle say: It is not permissible for any one of you to carry weapons in Mecca.

QUICK LESSONS:
Respect places of worship
EXPLANATIONS:
The hadith of Jabir ibn Abdullah states that it is not permissible for any person to carry weapons in the city of Makkah. This hadith serves as a reminder that the city of Makkah is a place of peace and safety, and it should be respected as such. Carrying weapons within the city limits would disrupt this peace and safety, which is why it has been prohibited by Allah's Messenger ﷺ. This hadith also teaches us that we should respect places of worship, no matter what religion they may be associated with, and ensure that they remain peaceful sanctuaries for all people.
