SUMMARY: Women should not travel for more than a day and night without a Mahram.

Abu Huraira (Allah be pleased with him) reported Allah's Messenger as saying: It is not lawful for a woman believing in Allah and the Hereafter to undertake journey extending over a day and a night except when there is a Mahram with her.

QUICK LESSONS:
Follow the rules set by Allah SWT regarding traveling with a mahram when going on journeys lasting more than one day and one night.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the importance of women having a mahram when they travel. A mahram is someone who is related to the woman, such as her father, brother, or husband. According to this hadith, it is not permissible for a woman who believes in Allah and the Hereafter to go on any journey that lasts longer than one day and one night without her mahram accompanying her. This rule applies even if she has other people travelling with her who are trustworthy and reliable. The purpose of this rule is to protect women from any harm or danger that may come their way while travelling alone. It also serves as an assurance that women will be safe during their travels and will not be taken advantage of by anyone else.
