Prostration During Recitation of Quran

SUMMARY: The Prophet (ﷺ) would prostrate whenever he recited a Sura that contained the prostration of recitation and his companions would follow suit.

Narrated Ibn 'Umar.: Whenever the Prophet recited the Sura which contained the prostration of recitation he used to prostrate and then, we, too, would prostrate and some of us did not find a place for prostration.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the importance of prostrating during the recitation of certain verses in the Quran. It was narrated by Ibn 'Umar that whenever Prophet Muhammad ﷺ recited a Sura which contained verses requiring prostration, he would prostrate and his companions would follow suit. This shows us how important it is to show reverence to Allah when we recite His words from the Holy Book. We should take this opportunity to humble ourselves before Him and thank Him for His blessings upon us. Furthermore, it also teaches us to be obedient and follow in our Prophet's footsteps as an example for us all.
