Sahih Muslim 1329a (Book 15, Hadith 434) #10369
Praying in the Ka'ba

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) entered the Ka'ba and prayed in a specific position with two pillars on his left, one pillar on his right, and three pillars behind him.

Ibn Umar (Allah be pleased with them) reported that Allah's Messenger (may peace, be upon him) entered the Ka'ba. Usama, Bilal and 'Uthman b. Talha, the keeper (of the Ka'ba), were along with him. He closed the door and stayed in it for some time. Ibn 'Umar (Allah be pleased with them) said: I asked Bilal as he came out what Allah's Messenger had done there. He said: He prayed there in (such a position) that two pillars were on his left side, one pillar on his right, and three pillars were behind him, and the House at that time was resting on six pillars.

QUICK LESSONS:
Take your prayers seriously no matter where you are or what you are doing .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the Prophet Muhammad's prayer inside of the Ka'ba. The Ka'ba is a holy site located in Mecca that Muslims visit during their pilgrimage to perform certain rituals. In this hadith, it is mentioned that when he entered the Ka’ba, he closed the door and stayed inside for some time. He then prayed in a specific position with two pillars on his left side, one pillar on his right side, and three pillars behind him. This shows us how important it was for him to pray properly even when performing an important ritual like entering into the holy site of Mecca. It also teaches us that we should always take our prayers seriously no matter where we are or what we are doing because prayer is an essential part of our faith as Muslims.
