QUICK LESSONS:

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the Prophet not performing a prostration when Zaid bin Thabit recited the Surah of An-Najm. It is narrated by Zaid bin Thabit that he recited the Surah of An-Najm before the Prophet and yet he did not perform a prostration. This shows us that it is not necessary to prostrate every time we recite this particular surah or any other surahs in the Quran. We should only prostrate if we feel moved to do so and if it is prescribed in our religion. The lesson here for us is that we should be mindful of our actions and be sure to follow what has been prescribed by Allah and His Messenger ﷺ.
