The Prophet's Respectful Circumambulation of Ka'ba

SUMMARY: On the occasion of the Farewell Pilgrimage, Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) circumambulated the Ka'ba on his camel and did not want people to be pushed away from him.

'A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported that Allah's Apostle circumambulated the Ka'ba on the back of his camel on the occasion of the Farewell Pilgrimage and touched the corner and he did not like that the people should be pushed away from him.
حَدَّثَنِي الْحَكَمُ بْنُ مُوسَى الْقَنْطَرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعَيْبُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ طَافَ النَّبِيُّ فِي حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ حَوْلَ الْكَعْبَةِ عَلَى بَعِيرِهِ يَسْتَلِمُ الرُّكْنَ كَرَاهِيَةَ أَنْ يُضْرَبَ عَنْهُ النَّاسُ

EXPLANATIONS:
During his final pilgrimage to Mecca, Prophet Muhammad ﷺ showed respect and kindness by circumambulating the Ka’aba on his camel. He did not want anyone to be pushed away from him as he was performing this ritual. This hadith teaches us that we should always show respect and kindness towards others no matter what situation we are in. We should also remember that Allah is watching us at all times and will reward us for our good deeds. Furthermore, it is important for Muslims to perform their religious rituals with humility and reverence in order to gain Allah’s blessings.
