Show respect towards things associated with Allah SWT ; Emulate Prophet Muhammad ﷺ ; Follow in footsteps of righteous predecessors ; Show reverence out of immense love for Allah SWT and His Messenger ﷺ .

This hadith speaks of the great love that both Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and Umar Radhiallahu Anhu had for a stone. It is said that this stone was placed in the Ka'bah by Prophet Ibrahim and Ismail when they built it. The lesson to be taken from this hadith is that we should show respect to all things associated with Allah SWT, even if it is something as small as a stone. We should also strive to emulate our beloved Prophet ﷺ in all aspects of life, including showing respect to things associated with Him SWT. Furthermore, we should also strive to follow in the footsteps of our righteous predecessors such as Umar Radhiallahu Anhu who showed such reverence towards this stone out of his immense love for Allah SWT and His Messenger ﷺ.
