QUICK LESSONS:
Take into consideration a person's age before punishing them for any wrongdoing or sinning .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks of three children who have not yet reached the age of committing sins. It is narrated by both Abu Sa'id Al-Khudri and Abu Huraira. The two narrators are speaking about the same incident in which they qualify these three children as being too young to be held accountable for their actions. They are saying that even though these children may have done something wrong or sinful, they should not be punished for it because they are still too young to understand the consequences of their actions. This hadith teaches us that we should always take into consideration a person's age before punishing them for any wrongdoing or sinning. We should also remember that even though a child may do something wrong, it does not necessarily mean that they will continue to do so when they reach adulthood; rather we should give them a chance to learn from their mistakes and grow up with proper guidance from adults around them.
