Entering into State of Ihram for Hajj Mufrad

SUMMARY: This hadith is about the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) entering into the state of Ihram with the intention of Hajj Mufrad.

Nafi' thus reported on the authority of Ibn Umar: We entered into the state of Ihram with Allah's Messenger for Hajj Mufrad and in the narration of Ibn 'Aun (the words are):" Allah's Messenger entered into the state of Ihram (with the intention) of Hajj Mufrad".
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ، وَعَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَوْنٍ الْهِلاَلِيُّ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبَّادُ بْنُ عَبَّادٍ، الْمُهَلَّبِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، - فِي رِوَايَةِ يَحْيَى - قَالَ أَهْلَلْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ بِالْحَجِّ مُفْرَدًا وَفِي رِوَايَةِ ابْنِ عَوْنٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَهَلَّ بِالْحَجِّ مُفْرَدًا

It also serves as an example for Muslims today, reminding them that they should strive to be devoted and obedient in their worship and service towards Allah. Furthermore, it teaches us that we should always have good intentions when performing any act of worship or service towards Allah, as our intentions are what truly matter in His eyes.
