Sahih Muslim 1226f (Book 15, Hadith 186) #10121
Combining Hajj and Umrah

SUMMARY: Combining Hajj and Umrah is permissible and should not be discouraged.

'Imran b. al-Husain (Allah be pleased with him) said: Know well that Allah's Messenger combined 'Hajj and 'Umra, and nothing was revealed in the Book (to abrogate it), and the Messenger of Allah too did not forbid us from (combining) them. And whatever a person said was out of his personal opinion.

QUICK LESSONS:
Follow clear instructions from Quran & Sunnah .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith explains that combining the rituals of Hajj and Umrah is permissible in Islam. It was narrated by 'Imran b. al-Husain, who was a companion of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. The hadith states that nothing has been revealed in the Quran to forbid this combination, nor did the Prophet ﷺ forbid it himself. Therefore, it is permissible for Muslims to combine these two rituals if they wish to do so. This hadith also teaches us that we should not discourage others from doing something if there is no clear evidence from the Quran or Sunnah forbidding it. We should only follow what has been clearly stated in Islamic teachings, rather than making assumptions based on our own opinions or beliefs.
