QUICK LESSONS:
Strive for excellence when it comes to fulfilling religious obligations.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks about a special concession given to the people of that time regarding performing the pilgrimage to Makkah. The term 'Tamattu'' refers to a type of pilgrimage where one performs Umrah during their stay in Makkah and then performs another ritual called 'Hajj'. This was a special permission granted by Allah which allowed pilgrims to perform both rituals at once instead of having to make two separate trips. This hadith teaches us that Allah is merciful and generous and grants us concessions when we need them most. It also reminds us that we should always strive to do our best when it comes to fulfilling our religious obligations.
