Sahih Muslim 1211k (Book 15, Hadith 129) #10064
Entering into the State of Ihram for Hajj

SUMMARY: This hadith is about A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) and her experience of entering into the state of Ihram for Hajj while she was in menses. The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) came to her and she was weeping, and there were sacrificial animals with him as well as Abu Bakr, Umar, and other rich persons who were pronouncing Talbiya as they proceeded on.

A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported: We entered into the state of. Ihram for Hajj till we were at Sarif and I was in menses. The Messenger of Allah came to me and I was weeping. The rest of the hadith is the same but (with this portion) that there were sacrificial animals with Allah's Apostle and with Abu Bakr, Umar and with rich persons. And they pronounced Talbiya as they proceeded on. And there is no mention of this (too):" I was a girl of tender age and I dozed off and my face touched the bind part of the Haudaj".

QUICK LESSONS:
Offer comfort whenever possible; Participate in rituals even if you are not obligated; Be generous towards those in need; Pronounce Talbiya when participating in rituals related to Hajj or Umrah .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about A'isha's experience when she entered into the state of Ihram for Hajj while she was in menses. The Prophet Muhammad came to her and saw that she was weeping, so he comforted her by telling her that it is not necessary for a woman who is menstruating to perform all the rituals associated with Hajj. He also told her that if someone has sacrificial animals then they should pronounce Talbiya which means saying "Labbayk Allahumma Labbayk" which translates to "Here I am at Your service O Allah". This hadith teaches us that even though women are not obligated to perform certain rituals during their menstrual cycle, they can still participate in other aspects such as pronouncing Talbiya or donating money towards sacrificial animals. It also teaches us that we should always be kind towards those who are going through difficult times and offer them comfort whenever possible.
