Completing Hajj and Umra

SUMMARY: A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) went on a pilgrimage to Mecca with the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ). She was one of those who had put on Ihram for Umra only, and Allah enabled her to complete both Hajj and Umra.

A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported: We went with the Messenger of Allah at the appearance of the new moon of Dhu'l-Hijja. There were amongst us those who had put on Ihram for Umra, and those also who had put on Ihram both for Hajj and Umra, and still those who had put on Ihram for Hajj (alone). I was one of those who had put on Ihram for. Umra (only)'.Urwa (one of the narrators) said: Allah enabled her (A'isha) to complete both Hajj and Umra (according to the way as mentioned above). Hisham (one of the narrators) said: She had neither the sacrificial animal nor (was she required to) fast, nor (was she obliged to give) alms.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the pilgrimage to Mecca that A'isha went on with the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. She was one of those who had put on Ihram for Umra only, but Allah enabled her to complete both Hajj and Umra. The main values discussed in this hadith are sacrifice, fasting, charity, and pilgrimage. Sacrifice is when an animal is offered as a gift or offering to God; fasting means abstaining from food or drink during certain times; charity is giving money or goods to help people in need; and pilgrimage is a journey made by Muslims at least once in their lifetime to Mecca as an act of worship towards God. These acts are important parts of Islamic faith as they demonstrate devotion towards God through self-discipline and generosity towards others.
