The transcripts of the long-foretold 'confession' by Khalid Sheikh
Mohammed was apparently released on Wednesday, but are we really supposed to believe this list of 'things to do' was extracted without torture? Through five long years in Gitmo? The items yet to be done on this assassin's list are simply incredible and detract from the drama of his alleged 'confession' to being the mastermind of 9/11, making the whole 'confession' thing doubtful. I mean, I would have told them I'd beheaded Queen Mary if they'd wanted me to.... Interesting how Daniel Pearle was deeply into an investigation relating to this guy and his contacts- possibly undercover US sponsored- and just as things were getting hot, well, he was conveniently beheaded.... Anyway, all in all, a nice effort by the State Dept to uplift worried Americans and distract them momentarily from their inability to pay the mortgage, and foresee a crumbling house of cards, beginning with Wall Street.... WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Al Qaeda suspect Khalid Sheikh Mohammed claimed he organized the September 11 attacks on the United States and other major attacks, according to the transcript of a hearing released on Wednesday. Following are some of the 28 separate attacks or plots for which he claimed responsibility. - The September 11, 2001 attacks that destroyed New York's World Trade Center and damaged the Pentagon, killing nearly 3,000 people. Mohammed said he was the operational director for Osama bin Laden and carried out the attacks "from A to Z". - The 1993 truck bomb attack on the World Trade Center that killed six people and wounded more than 1,000. - The October 12, 2002 bombings of two nightclubs in Bali, Indonesia, which killed 202 people. - The 2002 bomb attack on the Israeli-owned Paradise Hotel on the Kenyan coast, which killed at least 14. A simultaneous, failed missile attack on an Israeli airliner leaving nearby Mombasa airport. - The attempt to down two American passenger airplanes using shoe bombs. British-born Richard Reid was sentenced to life in prison for trying to blow up a transatlantic American Airlines flight on December 22, 2001 with explosives stuffed in his shoes. - A plan to bomb and destroy the Panama Canal - Surveying and financing for the assassination of several former American presidents, including Jimmy Carter. - A plot to destroy Britain's Heathrow Airport, the Canary Wharf Building and Big Ben. - Shared responsibility for plots to assassinate Pope John Paul in the Philippines and Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf. |

If you torture me, I will confess to dropping atomic bombs on Japan & training osama I found this Information about our terrorist: Actually his dad was a jew who worked in halliburton; He studied at yale where he meet Bush; Both were Freemasons. It is rumored that he was trained by the CIA during Cold war, along with Osama. see it all fits in.... |

Sheikh Mohammad , please let the world know , that you are also responsible to attacking Pearl Harbour, and then sank Titanic , and after this you planned and carried out Tsunami attack and kill thousands of people in the ocean. Please also call , Dodi Fayed and tell him that you killed Princess Diana and his son in Paris , before flying to Dafur and kill thosand of somalis and then you travel to oklahoma and destroyed the building. Please tell that you also killed JF Kennedy , Zia-Ul-Haq , and somehow killed Mother Teressa of India as well. keep confessing and give some surprises to this world.... we are waiting for more .... |

Al-kafir, please tell us why you think it is humiliating for members of
this forum that an unverifiable claim to masterminding the 9/11 attacks has been released by the Pentagon? Why do you think Muslims on this forum would feel ashamed that this individual had been held in secret prisons, and tortured for five years, held without access to legal representation, and subjected to inhumane treatment against all known international guidelines and laws regarding treatment of prisoners? Why should we feel ashamed? Does any thinking person really believe this confession? It comes a bit late after so much independent investigation into the run up and events on 9/11 proving that responsibility lies firmly with the upper echelons of the US government of the day. Go ahead, believe this guy thought it all up, you will be given plenty of material to back up the assumptions and government sponsored claims laying the blame at his door. It will serve one purpose only: to maintain the suspicion, hatred and verbal abuse directed at Moslems around the world. Al-Kafir, do you think you�re being original here?we get lots of bigots like you, spouting anything anti-Muslim you can think of, and blindly supporting everything you feel to be true American. Has anyone ever heard of Mr. Bush being described as America's 'preemptive strike' president? Another example is the emphasis on and blaming most acts of terror around the world as being committed by "Islamic Fundamentalists" or "Islamic Radicals". As if Moslems have secured legal patents on use of fundamentalism and radicalism. Control by herding works by diverting attention of the target audience or even honest news reporters from an event considered " damaging", to a diversionary one that is considered less damaging or even helpful. It is called control by herding because those being controlled are not being forced to do what they do. In fact, most don't even realize they're being controlled at all and ridicule others who may happen to recognize it, as conspiracy theorists.� |

The Confession Backfired
By Paul Craig Roberts 03/17/07 "ICH" --- The first confession released by the Bush regime�s Military Tribunals--that of Khalid Sheikh Mohammed--has discredited the entire process. Writing in Jurist, Northwestern University law professor Anthony D�Amato likens Mohammed�s confession to those that emerged in Stalin�s show trials of Bolshevik leaders in the 1930s. That was my own immediate thought. I remember speaking years ago with Soviet dissident Valdimir Bukovsky about the behavior of Soviet dissidents under torture. He replied that people pressed for names under torture would try to remember the names of war dead and people who had passed away. Those who retained enough of their wits under torture would confess to an unbelievable array of crimes in an effort to alert the public to the falsity of the entire process. That is what Mohammed did. We know he was tortured, because his response to the obligatory question about his treatment during his years of detention is redacted. We also know that he was tortured, because otherwise there is no point for the US Justice (sic) Dept. memos giving the green light to torture or for the Military Commissions Act, which permits torture and death sentence based on confession extracted by torture. Mohammed�s confession of crimes and plots is so vast that Katherine Shrader of the Associated Press reports that the Americans who extracted Mohammed�s confession do not believe it either. It is exaggerated, say Mohammed�s tormentors, and must be taken with a grain of salt. |
