Dear Hadi
The ongoing crisis in Gaza, with its brutal images of innocent women and children losing their lives, has deeply disturbed me and given me a profound sense of conflict.

I've lived in the USA for the past 30 years, and I adopted this country as my home with pride. Over the years, I convinced myself that certain actions my adopted country took were temporary lapses in judgment.

Our religion taught us to stand up for justice and support the oppressed. Use your voice to speak up for justice and for the people of Gaza. Reach out to the local Muslims community, and engage with them to show support for the people of Gaza. "And do not lose hope in the mercy of Allah, for no one loses hope in Allah’s mercy except those with no faith.” (Quran 12:87). Try to maintain a positive outlook and focus on the good you can do for them. Involvement in activities such as aid which are going for the people of Gaza. This will diminish your isolation somehow. Overall, we can pray for them that the people there get what they truly deserve. May Allah protect the people of Gaza and grant them freedom. Ameen.
