Hi, I know it’s 21th century but still, my parents already arranged who I will marry. Should I please them? Or please myself?

Wa alaykum as salam,

Nothing can happen without your consent. forced marriage islamically is considered rape, and all parties involved (except the victim) would get prosecuted for that.

But be smart about it all in sha Allah.
