Is it haram to listen to music that contains curse words and profanity?

It's better avoid song that have profanity etc.
Try to listen songs that have meaningful lyric.

We are asked not to listen to profanity regardless of the way it is relayed. If it is in music, poetry, prose, or whatever form, it is prohibited.
