Assalamualaikum,

I was wondering if anyone could shed any light on this.  Is the name Shania an Islamic name?  If so what is its meaning?

I would be extremely grateful if anyone could help as soon as possible.

The word Sharia appears in the Quran in its derivative form five times. In the hadith literature there is no appearance of sharia as a term or a word. The word simply means a place to all to drink water. Some Muslim scholars use the term to mean diving guidance and some use it to define divine laws.
