Assalamalecum WA rehmatullahi WA barakhatahu.what is the thing that is always with us in whatever situation we are?what is the thing that keep us intact in situations when we think all is over?what is the thing that may lead us to paradise in Sha Allah?Answer is prayer.prayer is the only weapon of a believer.in Qur'an in several places Allah mentioned the importance of prayer,Prophet Jonah(pbuh) was sent by Allah to region of Nineveh to propagate oneness of Allah but when people didn't listen him he left and started his journey on ship,suddenly a storm came and other passengers and Prophet Jonah(pbuh) himself felt a misfortune and therefore prophet jonah(pbuh) jumped into the sea and there he was swallowed by a fish,when he was in the fish he called Allah-"innaillaha illah anta subhanak Inna kuntum minalzalimin" ch 21 v 87,Allah accepted his prayer and make whale leave him safely to the shore,this way Allah emphasise the importance of prayer,Allah in ch 40 v 60-call onto me so that I shall hear you.Allah in surah Al Saffat ch 37 v 143-144 and in Surah Al Qalam ch 68 v 48-49-If Prophet Jonah(pbuh) would not call Allah while in the belly of fish,Allah would have cause him to remain in it till the day of judgement.Prophet Muhammad S.A.W(pbuh) said the most pleasing thing to Allah is prayer.so prayer is the only thing on the basis of which we can leas our life peacefully.

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, �The comparison of one who remembers Allah and one who does not, is like that of the living and the dead.�

Allah says,

�O you who believe! Respond to (the call of) Allah and His Messenger when he calls you to that which gives you life.�Qur�an 8:24
