CAringheart,
are you praying for God when you say "Blessed be God forever"?

From my perspective as a Christian, God showed us his compassion through Jesus.  Look at how Jesus behaved to see God.  We are not capable of fully understanding God, but Jesus is the closest thing we have to God.  Jesus was human.  But his spirit was God or God was in Jesus.  We all have spirits.  The "holy spirit" comes from God to help us if we ask for it.  Try not to get hung up on God being in Jesus or the holy spirit being part of God.  It is not a matter of worshiping 3 Gods.  God is able to have as may forms as he desires, I think.
