Assalamalecum WA rehmatullahi WA barakhatahu.friends in our day to day life we always backbite each other for eg in school and colleges we gossip about our proffessors and our classmates,in offices about our boss or other employees,even we backbite among relatives.but those who have understand Qur'an will never do that.Allah says in surah Al hujurat ch 49 v 11-12.don't laugh at others behind them,don't call them with funny names,they might b better than U.those are doing this they are doing a sin equal to consuming flesh of dead brother.as in surah al maidaah ch 5 v 6 it is haraam to consume dead flesh plus a person who consumes human flesh(cannibal)even he will not consume his own brother's flesh.so how could we fall to this extent?so friends stay away from gossiping otherwise it may prove a big obstacle in entering Jannah.Allahfiz

It is very true we are supposed to by religion not be this way and yet we do it just to get a laugh. I agree it is bad to gossip and fall to this extent as you have said.
