Alhumdulilah, I hope this is the beginning of your Islamic Journey. I encourage you to find sisters in your area to help you. Believe me, most sisters are willing to assist you in your journey. Make sure you do not rush into anything and that you are doing this for Allah and for yourself, not just for your husband. Open your heart up to Islam and Allah will guide you along the way.

There are many converts from all backrounds and ethnicity in Islam. I am a convert to Islam and enjoy talking with other converts and muslims with whom I have much in commen with.
