I am a senior scientist/engineer in the solar energy field. I received my PhD from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2001. As expensive as solar power is, using it will considerably decrease air pollution, and in some cases water pollution.
Perhaps in the future economies will give it a second thought, in some cases using non-renewable sources proves cheaper, although it harms the environment.

Solar power is not expensive anymore. And we can't assume that overusing our atmosphere is free. | If there's someone who doesn't know, a solar panel (also solar module, photovoltaic module or photovoltaic panel) is a packaged, connected assembly of photovoltaic cells. every house and building in the world should have solar panels  but the power companies won't make much money and that is what is comes down to. want to have solar on the house but the money is not there  -------------  ~ Our feet are earthbound, but our hearts and our minds have wings ~

The solar power project has now a green signal for all of us. It is really good for our financial budget. Many local energy provider offer me a lot of program-mes but I decide to take solar power. |

Solar energy is no longer used by people who do not have access to electric power.. houses can now be fitted with solar panels/solar heater for showers and all the general needs in a house that need extra electric watts .. we see security lights using solar energy.. billboards on the roads.. solar energy is like the new thing.. its cheap does not require lots of maintenance and it is environment friendly... i think we should all embrace this..
