Assalamu 'Alaikum,
I have converted to Islam about a year ago. I love my religion and Inshallah I want to learn more and more about it to be a good Muslim. Unfortunatly I don't know Arabic. So, until now I have been reading only translations of the Holy Qur'an.
I was wondering if somebody knows a good language course or something I could do to learn Arabic in a way that I can understand the Holy Qur'an? Unfortunately here in Maldives there is no English speaking teacher of Islam or course offered (since I don't speak the local language here), that can help me with this!

Wa alaikum salam, Alhamdulelalh who guided you and may Allah keep us all guided on the right path to Paradise. I highly recommend a website called ArabicPod.net. There you will find MP3s, videos, games and more for learning Arabic. I have been using it for over a year and it does help understand the Quran. Hope this helps |

Assalamu alaikum, brothers and sisters,
I am a muslim from Bulgaria and I have been studying Arabic for three years now at university in my country. I would say that my level is quite good but what I lack very much is practice i.e talking to Arabic speaking people. Could you please advice me what can I do to solve this problem. If someone here is fluent in Arabic and is willing to talk to me either by writing or talking on some messenger I would be really obliged. May Allah bless you all! Wslm |
