Salaam,

I am quite religious and try to pray 5 times a day. I always keep my faith in Allah and pray 4 times a day, always read duas and keep my belief strong. I have liked a muslim brother for some time and he likes me too. I have performed Istikhara in the past for him and Mashallah it came out positive. Recently he has decided he wants nothing to do with me because he has a lot of family problems to deal with, although we planned on telling our parents about each other. He is going through some really difficult times, and is pushing me away as a result. I thought maybe this is a sign from Allah not to continue with him, so I performed Istikhara again recently and again Mashallah it came out positive. I felt relaxed, and at peace, and even had a dream about him which was positive. However he seems to still be stubborn and wants nothing to do with me as he said he wants to be with his family instead.

I don't know what to do, I am putting all of my trust and faith in Allah swt to see a better outcome, and still keep my faith strong. If my Istikhara is still positive, why does it seem so difficult, as he is still insisting that he wants nothing to do with me. Is there anything else I could do to receive a better outcome? Are there any duas I could read to help him through his problems and the problem I am facing?

I would appreciate any help.

Jazakallah

Oh Allah! I seek Your guidance by virtue of Your knowledge, and I seek ability by virtue of Your power, and I ask You of Your great bounty. You have power; I have none. And You know; I know not. You are the Knower of hidden things.

Oh Allah! If in Your knowledge, (this matter*) is good for my religion, my livelihood and my affairs, immediate and in the future, then ordain it for me, make it easy for me, and bless it for me. And if in Your knowledge, (this matter*) is bad for my religion, my livelihood and my affairs, immediate and in the future, then turn it away from me, and turn me away from it. And ordain for me the good wherever it may be, and make me content with it.

It appears to have been turned away from you, so be content with it.
