Guidance Conference: The Qur'anic Generation, In the Footsteps of
Prophet

Saturday ans sunday, June 24th, 25th 2006 from 10am to 10pm

Who were the companions of the Prophet (sal Allahu 'alayhi wa sallam)
and what lessons have they left behind us? They were the students of
our greatest teacher and the best of generations. As Muslims living in
the West, their shining example provides for us the best instruction of
balancing between spirituality, knowledge, family, social involvement,
good character and more

This is the first Annual Guidance conference and the first biggest
conference in Montreal with lectures which will be given in four
different languages insha Allah: English, French, Arabic and Urdu, with
simultaneous translation

It will be a two days conference (june 24th & 25th) with several
speakers including Abu Yusuf Riyadh Ul-Haq, Ragheb El-Sergany, Munir
El-Kassem, Abdelhadi Ayadi, Hussam Abo Mahmoud, Sofiane Omar, Imam
At-Tayeb, Abdelsalam Menyawi, Abdelfattah Tawakkal, Ali Temam, Navaid
Aziz, Ahmad Shawky & Omar Bakkar. The conference will also include a
bazaar. Lunch and dinner will be on sale

Pfff...I thought this was a post about the Jazz Festival. 

BTW. Montreal is an amazing city to visit during the summer time.  I highly recommend it.
