Medicine is arguably elements morphed into compounds yet big pharma literally charge millions for treatments. Here's a big idea. Create a global pharmaceutical co-op. Free medication for all and suitable funding (at the state level) for new medicines research.
Why do I say such things? People should get healthcare devoid of cost! Perhaps even a human right?? In South Africa the government couldn't afford modern anti retrovirals for patients with HIV and people literally died for no appreciable reason other than finance. South Africa violated patent laws and produced modern anti retrovirals for cents and saved copious lives. Should the basics of life be enshrined in human rights? Right to food right to healthcare right to education etc

People dying in America as the price of insulin has erupted. A global co-op pharmacy would keep the insulin poor (and such) alive. How the chairmen of the big pharma companies that have grossly inflated the price of insulin live with themselves is a mystery. Free medicine and healthcare should be a human right.
As someone once said the only decent socialist concept is free healthcare. I would expand that to free education three square meals a day etc. Perhaps a social contract gauranteeing a quality of life is in order. From the cradle to the grave the state should support its citizens gauranteeing a right to dignity and a quality of life.Government is meant to govern and not rule. The American government letting people die because of the cost of insulin is arguably involuntary manslaughter Perhaps a universal basic income is a good place to begin. The larger the UBI the greater the GDP. I guess that's of the cards as that's not eco friendly due to increased consumerism. What makes me laugh is last month saw the largest logging in the rainforest on record. Why haven't you planted trillions of trees to increase the efficiency of the world's lungs? I think Hubert's peak oil got it right which might explain the illegal oil war in Iraq. If we can't be born into a utopia then let's try our best to live in a utopia. By anology why drive a lada- when we can drive a societal Ferrari The fourth industrial revolution is running out of steam due to a lack of vital elements for industry. As was said TRANSMUTATION OF THE ELEMENTS. No need to live like Fred Flintstone. My polite suggestion is save the remaining oil for industrial plastics & invest in transmutation of the elements. There is a thread called Motionless electromagnetic generator. I gave a link to a MEG proof of concept video on YouTube. Lt.col Tom bearden invented the MEG & qoute- it generated terrifing mind bending power. The physics are surprisingly simple. Tap and resonate the ether (universal background electromagnetic energy) A resonant system is an open one. I guess that's why the MEG generated terrifing power. There is a patent by Bearden et Al on the MEG btw that might be worthy of research. The YouTube proof of concept video on the MEG included schematics for the MEG. No reason to get it wrong. Peace
