If the United Nations turned the disputed territories into UN protectorates and had UN provide security (blue helmets) would that generate stability?

Is peace and stability complicated? If no faction owned the disputed territories and security was provided by United Nations soldiers (Blue helmets) would spiritual opposites (that share the same God) live in peace? One God different theology and philosophy- respect each other!!
Edit. War can be defined as the exchange of real estate for human life. War is diplomacy gone wrong. Declonfliction via diplomacy is arguably better than bombs and bullets. If a war lasted 100 years you would eventually wind up at the peace table- why fight your way to the peace table- when you can walk there devoid of conflict?

I'm 95% Certain that the boss wants the disputed territories turned into United Nations protectorates with UN peacekeepers providing security to the protectorates.IF THERE IS NO DISPUTED TERRITORIES THEN THERE IS NO DISPUTE
