I came across a couple of interesting videos that made me wonder and ask some questions:

1) Why are we surrounded by extremists in today's world? they are everywhere: individuals and groups attributing themselves to ideologies and religions, Secularists (people who falsely claim to separate state from faith or religion), some Presidents and leaders of countries, some Prime Ministers, some journalists Media Chiefs and Editors, Screen/Keyboard warriors...etc

2) Why are we ( the innocent victims in the middle, with various faiths, religions and ideologies, and those with none) almost always at the receiving end of this extremism?

3) Why has violence taken so many forms and 'ways' in our world today? Physical, verbal, mental, decision making, random, prejudicial, targeted, but also generic and stereotypical...etc

4) Is there still hope for us (the victims in the middle) to restore/tip the balance towards: unity, sharing common understanding, learning from (and respecting) each other's values and principles?

Anyway... check this out:

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَبَرَوَبَرَكَاتُهُ

MIAW,

In my personal opinion is that, this condition may be one of the signs of the end of times.
Most of them separate worldly affairs from the laws of Allah (religion), whereas among the functions of religion is to be a way of life for humanity in dealing with all the problems of their life in accordance with the pleasure of Allah Ta'ala that has created all humans.
Therefore, Allah's laws should be placed above the laws made by humans.
Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala Said:

وَمَنْ لَّمْ يَحْكُمْ بِمَاۤ اَنْزَلَ اللّٰهُ فَاُولٰٓئِكَ هُمُ الْكٰفِرُوْنَ

"Whoever does not judge with the law what Allah has sent down, they are the disbelievers."
(Al-Ma'idah 5: 44)

As far as I know that this happened because of various factors such as power politics, racism, colonialism, secularism, etc.
Therefore, this will automatically have an impact on innocent people including Muslims who are the target of defamation.

However, Allah Ta'ala is All-Seeing what every creature is doing.

We ask for protection from Allah Ta'ala so that we avoid from His punishment.
Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala Said:

وَاتَّقُوْا فِتْنَةً لَّا تُصِيْبَنَّ الَّذِيْنَ ظَلَمُوْا مِنْكُمْ خَآ صَّةً   ۚ  وَاعْلَمُوْۤا اَنَّ اللّٰهَ شَدِيْدُ الْعِقَابِ

"And protect yourself from the torment that does not only afflict the wrongdoers among you. Know that Allah is very harsh in punishment."
(Al-Anfal 8: 25)

Islam is a religion "rahmatan lil 'Aalamiin", certainly not a religion of violence.

As for some Muslims who commit violence, and even then because there are causes (internal or external).
But mostly because of injustice and slander.

Let's pray for the innocent victims so that they can feel the justice, happiness and Allah's protection.

£مين يارب العالمين
