   Assalamu Alaikum everyone!

I am a recent convert to Islam and live in Bellflower, CA which is near Long Beach and Los Angeles. I am a 49 year old white and Cherokee American. I'm married and have two adult children. I have many interests and am trying to see what I can fit in an Islamic lifestyle (I posted this in the New Muslims forum).

Other than that I am thankful to be alive as my heart stopped lat week and I was revived with AED and adrenaline (more info in New Muslims forum).
