Hello All,

I'm a 26 year old Muslim and mother of one beautiful baby boy. I married my husband (who is also my first cousin) about 4.5 years ago back home in Afghanistan. Our marriage did not start off very well as we did not know each other at the time but we both consented to the marriage. I sponsored my husband to Canada and we have been living a good life ever since he arrived to Canada about 2.5 years ago.
Recently,  I found out that he had been visiting strip clubs and had messaging escorts via social media. I have been heart broken ever since. I could no longer bear it so I confronted him about it. He felt ashamed of his actions and apologized multiple times and promised me that nothing else had happened. His apologies seemed to be very genuine and honest Yet, my heart still feels heavy. I feel hurt and betrayed. I decided to forgive him for the sake of our marriage, our son and for the fact that I love him. He is an amazing father and has been very kind to me during our marriage. There is no trust left between us. What would be a good way to re build trust after such an ordeal?

Thank you to all the kind sisters in advance.
