Reciting The Qur'an: Best Way.

    As-Salaam alaikum,

 Tawus, may Allah be Merciful to him, related that the Messenger of Allah, Sallallahu alaihi Wasallam, was asked: "Who has the best voice and best recitation of the Qur'an?" He replied: "The person whose recitation makes you feel he fears Allah."  Tawus said: "Talq was [a person who recited] in this way." (Darimi: 3489)

 Since humility is not experienced without imagining that one is presenting oneself before Allah Ta'ala, this Hadith makes reference to the fact that when one is reciting the Qur'an, one should imagine that one is sitting before Allah Ta'ala, reciting to Him, and that Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala is listening to him. This is a very good way of reciting the Qur'an and is recommended by spiritual masters.
