Hi
If a person "A" who is a Muslim troubles another person "B" who is also a Muslim by causing mental and financial harm all his lifetime. Will A go to Jannat simply by reciting Kalma and asking Allah for forgiveness on death bed? Thanks.

Only Allah knows of our final disposition, however we pray for both A and B...

Wa alaikum Salam,
The decision to send someone to jannah or to hellfire belong to God only. All we can say that the person who is in this life style is violating the basic Islamic values and proving to himself that he does not care of divine guidance. Such people do not deserve reward but they are reprimanded and the sayings of the Prophet endorse that. |
