How do you do? My name is Alex and I have been travelling around the world for 4 months. I intend to explore the Middle East in 1 month - the region which I consider as the most mysterious land in the world. I want to learn some basic things about Islamic in this region. I see some differences in Islamic between some countries in SEA and the Middle East countries. It is the reason why I find out and join this forum.

Hi Alex, Your desire to learn the basics about Islam is good, as some of the differences you find in some countries in Southeast Asia and Middle East countries, it depends on the customs of each country in packing Islamic teachings only in ritual form, and as long as they are not out of Tauheed and also not in violation with the Qur'an and Hadith saheeh, then it's still acceptable as a Muslim. God created mankind in various tribes and nations, it is none other than to know each other and only fear or 'taqwa' to Him. (Qur'an 49:13) “O mankind! We have created you from a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that you may know one another. Verily, the most honorable of you with Allah is that (believer) who has At-Taqwa (one of the Muttaqun or pious). Verily, Allah is All-Knowing, All-Aware.” If you want to know more about it, please don't hesitate to ask about Islam in this forum. Thanks. |
