Salam,

If we are going through life under a pre-ordained map, then isn’t free will a farce. It may be that I’m writing you this text of my free will but in fact, this action was pre-ordained for me. On top of that, as humans we are expected to sin. On top of that we have Satan hounding us to sin. On top of that we were created with tendencies for security in life, food, shelter, desires for women, desire for possessions. All of which can lead to sin. These are our natural tendencies. Satan of course is doing this with God’s approval. In the end do you really think we have any control of our actions to lead ourselves to salvation. It’s seems as if our final destination is already determined no matter what you do.

Salam Alaikum,
This is one view among all religious scholars in all religion.
The other is also found in the scriptures.
God has handed over this world to human beings and given them permission and capacity to do whatever they want to do with this world based on their free well.
However, God wants people to be aware of the consequences of their actions. God's laws are out there in our physical and spiritual world. We need to understand those laws and act on the basis of our free will.
The divine law of fire tells us that fire burns. We have the free choice to burn ourselves or others or not to burn at all and find out methods to ensure that the fire does not harm others.

Best Regards,
Aslam Abdullah
