will there be anything that you truly want?? but one of the sayings has it that in jannah we will be far removed from want. so how is that?
given example: say that someone wants his jannah life to be like anime-like or something, will this be granted by Allah??
p.s: My wishes are soo complicated than i often question if i will ever get them even if i in jannah. but no doubt, Allah has power to do all things [IMG]smileys/smiley1.gif" align="middle" />

Salam,
Yes everything that you want/ask will be granted.
However please notes that people who already got ticket to  jannah, had been "selected', "purified", "cleansed" etc before got the privilege enter to jannah. So in Jannah everything is good, none is bad, like mention in the quran, you will only hear good word (such greeting salam, glorify Allah etc).
So people in jannah will not have anything bad in mind, let say " want kill somebody, want to have  illegal  'relationship with somebody's wife etc). Again "NOTHING BAD IN THE MIND OF PEOPLE IN JANNAH" so if you go to you will not have bad thing in you mind there, even though you might have it here in earth, those bad desire will be erased from you mind/brain before you enter to jannah.
Salam/Peace,

Semar

firstly we need to know the meaning of JANNAH...

Jannah - means gardens

But give glad tidings to those who believe and work righteousness, that their portion is Gardens, beneath which rivers flow. Every time they are fed with fruits therefrom, they say: "Why, this is what we were fed with before," for they are given things in similitude; and they have therein companions pure (and holy); and they abide therein (for ever).

where is this gardens located?

in paradise...

what is paradise?

home / abode of peace or Dar As Salam..

AQ10:25-27
25     And Allah summoneth to the abode of peace, and leadeth whom He will to a straight path.

26 For those who do good is good (reward) and more (than this); and blackness or ignominy shall not cover their faces; these are the dwellers of the garden; in it they shall abide.

27     And (as for) those who have earned evil, the punishment of an evil is the like of it, and abasement shall come upon them-- they shall have none to protect them from Allah-- as if their faces had been covered with slices of the dense darkness of night; these are the inmates of the fire; in it they shall abide.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
AQ 6:126-127
126     And this is the path of your Lord, (a) right (path); indeed We have made the communications clear for a people who mind.
127     They shall have the abode of peace with their Lord, and He is their guardian because of what they did.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

so where is this Home of peace / paradise / dar as salam situated?

and where is the straight /true path leading to it?

AQ1:7

6     Show us the straight way,

AQ 4:68

68     And We should have shown them the Straight Way.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
think and research...
Dar as salam (is arabic word) -
Jerusalem / Yerusalem ?
