Quesiton about Hadith

   While I understand the point/need of recording how the Prophet(PBUH) acted/judged/treated people, I guess I'm confused as to the point of recording the exact steps he took to use the bathroom for example? I apologize if a similar topic has been posted I tried a search, but either did it wrong or could not find anything.

	We learn valuable lessons from the hadiths. With regard to using the toilet, we learn that we should clean thoroughly and make wudhu afterwards if possible.
