   In Quran Allah says

�And one of His signs is that He created mates for you from yourselves that you may find rest in them, and He put between you love and compassion; most surely there are signs in this for a people who reflect.� (Surah al-Rum � Ayah 21)


There are some aspects for legal marriage in Islam


1.Mutual Agreement between bride and groom

2.Mahr(A gift given by groom to bride)

3.Sermon (khutba-tun-nikah)

4.Walima(Marriage Banquet)
