   asak sisters

I have been looking for my answers about ghusul for women. but to no avail. so I need help from u sisters 

does washing hair for janaba is mandatory ? let me specify more clearly janaba after sexual intercourse. wat if one hav sex many times a day. does she has to wash her hair every time after sex. or is it enough to pour three handfuls of water on her head n then rest of body. will she be purified?  I hav read janaba after menstruation is only once a month n so washing hair completely unting plaits is not a problem but janaba after sex which may be frequent require only putting 3 handfuls of water on head without unting braids. am confused in this. kindly help.

	Walaikum assalam wa rahamtullah, You do not need to untie your hair, but water should reach its roots in order to lift the state of Janaba. I do not understand what you mean by pouring 3 handfulls of water. If this amount is enough to reach all the roots of hair, then it should suffice. Everytime you get into the state of janaba a ghusl becomes obligatory before you perform any act of worship, or touch/recite the Quran, pass through a mosque etc. hope this helps.
