Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahamtullah

People souldn't feel ashamed or feel bad about their bodies or body hair. It's the way Allah has created you. Something of Allah is never disgusting or wrong. Those major hair removal companies. Gilette etc has brainwashed people and society into making people hate their own bodies. Making women feel uncomfortable about their own bodies. It's a multi million dollar business. Waxing shaving laser surgery etc. That's why they're making you think it's abnormal to have body hair. But it isn't. It's perfectly normal to have hair on your legs arms belly and literally everywhere it's society making you think it's wrong. But it isn't. Follow Islam and the Sunnah of our Prophet Sal Allahu Alaihi wa Sallam.

Question
I have heard different things about shaving one's pubic hair. I have heard that it is optional and also heard that you have to. What is correct?

Answer
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger. We ask Allaah to exalt his mention as well as that of his family and all his companions.

It is confirmed that the Prophet said: "Five are among the Fitrahacts (i.e. natural disposition): Circumcision, shaving pubic hair, plucking out armpit hair, clipping one's nails and trimming one's moustache." [Al-Bukhaari and Muslim]

As regards whether it is an obligation or optional, the jurists agreed that it is a recommended act for men and women.
Imaam An-Nawawi said: 'It is agreed among the scholars that shaving the pubic hair is a recommended act as well.
To conclude, shaving the pubic hair is a recommended act except for the wife if her husband orders her to do so, or she becomes odd to an extent that her husband is driven away from her, in which case it becomes an obligation on her to shave it.

Question
Is a person's prayer acceptable if his pubic hair is long?

Answer
All perfect praise be to Allaah, The Lord of the Worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger. We ask Allaah to exalt his mention as well as that of his family and all his companions.

If someone performs the prayer with its conditions, obligations and pillars, then his prayer is acceptable and valid even if he did not shave his pubic hair. Shaving the pubic hair is not a condition for the validity of the prayer. However, one should know that shaving the pubic hair is one of the acts of Fitrah [natural predisposition]. The Prophet said: "Five are among theFitrah acts: Circumcision, shaving pubic hair, plucking out armpit hair, clipping one's nails and trimming one's moustache." [Al-Bukhaari and Muslim]
Allaah knows best.

We should say Alhamdulillah for the way we were created. For the fact we're able to function normally. It's the way Allah has created you. So what if one has hair on her legs or arms or where ever. It's mashaAllah. A soubhanaAllah form a beauty. Due too western influences and it's social construct of beauty it is now labelled as gross and unfeminine.

Body hair is oke.
