Community: at times, I am just acting like a little crypto-fascist in this thread (keyword, acting).  I am glad to stimulate discussion, but don't take me too seriously.

A paraphrase of a famous quote about Vietnam:

"We will have to destroy the Middle East in order to save it."

against it's enemies who can not resist to attack her

Is that just a bit of paranaoia or some full blown persecution complex? Why would anyone wish to attack your country . . . just like that?

Ever possible you coud have trod very badly on some peoples' toes somewhere?

Or, been partial to some land grab (big scale with buldozers and alla that)?

Or, landed plane loads and plane loads of Amreeki soldiers somewhere a wee sensitive?

is enough to liberate the world from opressive people.

My very own family holds six centuries of experience of saving different parts of India from oppressive people - till one of my ancestors found out that we always did it soon after the harvest season. (few tonnes of Somnath gold was merely one of his case studies!!)

He gave up his post (modesty keeps me from mentioning it) threw his uniform away, became a Naqshbandi scholar and starting preaching man's right of self determination circa 1751.

What he founded is far far stronger and more beautiful than any empire in the entire Afghan history!

One day Americans may rise to understand that instead of voting in the likes of Arnold Shwarzneggers for their comfort!

It is easier to devise propositions than to defend them.

Hey: democratize this (the American economy)!  All decisions made, or taken, by the Chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank should henceforth be presented as proposals and be submitted to the American plebiscite (i.e., the masses) for a full vote.

Quote Walking into extremely dangerous territory, amigo!

Yo se, amigo, y gracias, pero (saith the proverb) ignorancia es atrevida!  Moving right along, though, and well advisedly changing the subject altogether (for now):

Democracy sucks when the ignorant majority disagrees with me (which is most of the time)!
