I was wondering if there are any Muslim texts available which discuss or clarify the interpretation of dreams.  Since I began reading the Quran, I have had several powerful yet extremely peaceful and enlightening dreams concerning Islam.  As far as I know, there are no Muslims residing on my island, yet I would be keenly interested in Muslim interpretation of these dreams.  Dreams of this intensity never occurred to me while I was a Catholic.  I have also explored Buddhist, Hindu, and Taoist texts, but have never experienced dreams concerning them.

In reality there is not one dream interpretation that can interpret your dream per se. I know it sound dissapointing but that what it is.
When I started noticing dreams I wrote them down on a note book (and computer later on), just like when you write a short story. I noted the date and rough estimate of the time. I wrote what time I went to bed and what time I woke up.

Vivid dreams will last reasonably long time in your memory. But the "By product of day to day activity" are short live dreams. Both of those dreams are in line with your characteristic. They are pretty much reflection of what you are. Because what you gather when you are in awake state is being sorted out when you are in a sleep. When you wake up in the middle of hectic sorting that is what you refer as dreams.

The third type of dreams are: strong feeding from outside. You will notice this dreams by it's peculiarity. They came out of blue, they are not what you familiar, they are also usually vivid. But many times these kind of dreams are polluted with the 1st and the 2nd kinds. It needs time and detailist method to filter them out. It hit and miss effort at start.

Good luck
